Meeting the demands of the energy transition is an added challenge. Retooling our energy infrastructure requires land for new grid infrastructure – often in urban coastal areas looking to import power from wind. However, this layer of deep complexity in renewables development is often overlooked, especially as European energy companies expand in the Americas.
