Laura Lee (née Berger)
Laura joined HC Group in 2021 and is a Portfolio Director, leading our Financial Services practice and spearheading the commercial expansion of HC Group’s Talent Intelligence platform across North America.
Her expertise lies in identifying commodity trading talent for hedge funds and investment banks.
Since joining HC Group, Laura has played a key role in developing the firm's European Liquid Fuels practice before establishing the Financial Services practice. She now also leads the expansion of our Talent Intelligence offering in North America, helping organizations access insight-led talent solutions across the commodity trading value chain.
Prior to joining HC Group, Laura spent eight years with another commodities search firm, initially based in New York before relocating to London in 2017 to build its EMEA Oil and LNG practice. She speaks fluent German.
I enjoy advising our clients on how to remain competitive in an ever-changing and dynamic talent landscape. The commodities sector is constantly evolving, shaped by market fluctuations, geopolitical developments, and technological advancements. Helping organizations navigate these complexities by identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent is a deeply rewarding aspect of my work.
