Shanez Fernando
Shanez joined HC Group in 2020 and currently serves as a Senior Associate on the Talent Intelligence team in London.
Shanez discovered her interest in the energy transition whilst working in the Liquid Fuels practice as an Associate and now leads HC's activity across European Renewable and Future Fuels in Europe, which encompasses biofuels, bio-feedstocks and e-fuels.
She provides aid to clients on their decarbonisation journeys and one of her proudest achievements was building out the Green Fuels Origination team for Maersk in Copenhagen.
As an Asian woman, I am most passionate about promoting both racial and gender diversity in the commodity industry. I believe this is vital to increasing innovation, especially with regards to energy transition.
